Maori body parts

Today we were learning how to say our body parts in Maori.  Nanny Thompson came to help spell the new words we didn't know maori. She helped us to pronounce them properly too.  We got into groups of 4 and had to stick the maori and english words on to a group member.  We had heaps of fun and made each other look rather silly.

Serena  says - it was hilarious because we had bits of paper all over us.
Kalani says - we learned about body parts.  1 finger is mati and 2 fingers are matimati.
Mayarni says- I learned that taringa is your ear, puku is your tummy and matimati are your fingers
Hyrum says - I learned more maori parts I feel smarter by the minute.
Addison says - it was hilarious because all my member had to look silly in front of each other.
Nicole says - it really hurts when you pull the labels off.
Nissi Says - cellotape and lips are not good friends.
Ayush says - if we learn this, I wonder if we could learn about verbs in maori?
